Now there’s an actual Twitter feed called @NeedADebitCard that aggregates people’s Instagram photos of their debit and credit cards. And boy, is it disturbing. Much in the way the website PleaseRobMe.com attempts to make people aware of the dangers of sharing too much information about their whereabouts online, @NeedADebitCard exploits our ignorance about money with all the ease of a re-Tweet. “Please quit posting pictures of your debit card people,” reads the description. Too bad no one’s listening. At press time, the feed showed 65 Twitter users’ cards and already had 422 followers.
